I believe I have one. No guarantees though. I wont be back home until Sunday morning though, so I wont have any news until then.
Is the rad shack htx10 mic the same? If so I have one that I’ll sell you, and I’ll include a free radio shack htx10.

Its not. The 257 has a small mic that has an amplifier and compression circuit in it. Powered by the 12vdc pin on the radios mic connector. Pretty cool actually
Yep that be it .does it have up and down buttons on top ? And how much you want for it ?
Never had buttons, so I was doubting it was what you were after. Likely not hard to install them though. On second look, the nameplate on the front is up and down switches. Seem they may or may not be volume up and down. May not be too hard to swap them over to channel switches.
