Magnum Delta Force Parts.

If you are going into business you will need to have a lot of scrap chassis around to scavenge parts from if obsolete models or versions that are not in current production.

If it is a personal radio that your are really invested in you need to pick up at least 1 or 2 parts radio's for each like new radio you want to keep going.

As an example I own 3 Realistic 365's to keep 1 in like new shape. I have 2 Slant face Sears Road Talkers to keep one NOS unit running and a few AM versions as well for pots and switches.

I have 2 138 XLR's one NOS and one that is working but a bit rough to use as a parts radio.

Does that make sense?

thanks for the info. All makes sense. I have two of the Slant face Road Talkers myself . Both work fine and are SSB.
