Your right. Cal. However he did email me not to send anythibg in until the New Georgia shop was opened because the Ontairo shop was 30 days turn around. I can copy and past the email if you'd like? Just saying.

Jacking around with my radio some more and see that it has a carrier on ssb, too. FYI. Found another thread were a blown resistor in carrier balance section caused it in tha instance. My 2950 dx is still working.......

Changed a diode at RV107 that was bad, radio was still acting up, then miraculously started acting right, until I changed modes. :headbang

Undertaker, did you ever get your radio repaired? Local dude kept mine for a month then punted.

I've also had good luck with Mountain View Electronics in Dandridge TN. they also are a factory Magnum repair place, great guys with a quick turn around time. Give them a call 865 397 0536

Thanks for the number, Tucker. I've called these guys before and they were helpful. Looks like I'll have to send it off to get fixed, or throw it in the river.
