This is my first modeling effort for the New Top One. It is only close to the specs, and as soon as I take it down I'll mearsure everything and fix it right.

This is my first modeling effort for the New Top One. It is only close to the specs, and as soon as I take it down I'll measure everything and fix it right.

Well I took my New Top One down yesterday and I measured it carefully today and fixed all of the spec error for my model posted above. The fixes improved the antenna a little according to the model, and it helped to reduce the mismatch that the gamma takes care of.

This time the free space pattern will not include the mast that the model over real Earth does. I don't want Bob to get all corn'fused due to a mistake.

I did notice that the free space pattern no longer indicates the tilt I noted with the first model posted, where the maximum lobe showed to be below the horizon. I have not tried to figure out why or what the difference in the models was as yet.

This model also did not produce as good of Average Gain result as I would have preferred, but that fix may be as simple as adjusting some segment counts and getting a little better control over segments for some of the wires.

BTW, I included the wires view so any of you that do Enc modeling can check me out on this one. If you do, maybe you could give me a little feed back.
