back in the late 90`s I ran a 2 sided 16 (2979) amp made by messenger..... It had 2 driver transistors
which I had removed from the circuit and I used to drive it with my Yaesu 757 in the mobile , I would sure love to find one of these amps and was wondering if one of you guys may know of one sitting in a closet somewhere ?

I wish you luck! Most of the nice large 8 and 16 pill non competition amps have been cannibalized for the Toshibas.
