Mic for a 148

If soldering isn't a strong skill . . . Then, it is time to learn.

It's not that hard to do. Your need for wiring up that mic to the radio is now the incentive. Somewhere down the line, the need for soldering is essential when operating a radio. It is one thing if you buy a new mic that is pre-wired for your radio; and yet another thing if/when just one of that mic wires break. More like 'when' - than 'if'. Get over that fear, and then you are no longer limiting your skill set.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
