I wanna connect my Astatic 1104-C to my Radio Shack HTX-10, and I was wondering if anyone had the pin-outs? One guy told me to follow the D-104 wiring, but I figured that I better check first.

From what I found on the web the original wiring is:

Pin 1 - Audio
Pin 2 - Receive
Pin 3 - Transmit
Pin 4 - Ch Up/Dn
Pin 5 - Common
Pin 6 - +13.8v

So to wire the Astatic mic:

Pin 1 - White (Audio)
Pin 2 - Black (Receive)
Pin 3 - Red (Transmit)
Pin 4 - N/C
Pin 5 - Shield (Common/Ground)
Pin 6 - N/C

I also read that a power mic really isn't suggested for this radio, but one can be used if you keep the gain turned down so you don't overdrive it. I would also slide a piece of shrink tube over pin 6 in the mic plug to prevent anything from accidently touching it and sending voltage through the mic/radio possibly causing damage. Use this info at your own risk... ;)

A 6-pin, lock ring type, microphone connector is used.
Microphone wiring is as follows:
Pin 1 : Microphone Audio
Pin 2 : Receive
Pin 3 : Transmit
Pin 4 : Down (Up w/ 22K Ohm Resistor)
Pin 5 : Ground
Pin 6 : +13.8 VDC
