microphone shocking

d104 is shocking afther keying up, trun the mic gain down it will not do it radio is a galaxy 959.it only shock afther a min or so afther keying up.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/frown.gif ALT=":(">

I had the same problem 11/2 years ago. Below is the response I got and he was right.

You need to ground the radio chassis.
Then ground your amp (if running one)
Then make sure you use seperate grounding wires .

Radio to chassis, Amp to chassis. Not radio + amp+chassis.
