We got some real good skip conditions tonight in Central Pa, had a short Qso with AK 1701Scott 35 miles west on the Twin cities.He said he had some of the Northern light exposer thing going on at the present time!<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/eek.gif ALT=":eek"> I know that not an exceptional contact but we don't get those kinda conditions very often!!! I spoke with someome this morning at the store and he told me he and his son watched the light show here last night.

    Another major solar flare, but this time from an active region just beginning to turn into view off the east limb. It is possible that the group responsible is old AR 3654 from the previous rotation. The latest flare, an X2.99 event just peaked at 14:38 UTC (May 15). Stay tuned
