If memory serves,..I had one of these back in the day. It had really good audio, and transmitted just as good!!
I had one, but it was the 40 channel 888.It was a good talking little mobile.The only thing I didnt like was the 6 pin mic plug.Now I got one same as yours,somebody installed 2 toggle switches right by the channel selector.Why they did that,maybe they didnt notice the 6 switches across the front, is beyond me.The 888 is my favorite Midland mobile

@ heartbreaker3473:Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
