Midland has changed the 75-822 to a board Rev. 2.5. If you do the export mod on this radio, the display looks like a success, the radio transmits on the new frequencies, but you have no receive on any frequency that I have been able to determine. Anybody got any experience with the late production versions of these far as frequency conversions go? They have added six holes to this version of the board marked "PROG" which looks like it may be for some type of programming device to be plugged in. Might be that the processor needs flushed but have not torn it part looking for the memory cap. Any pearls of wisdom would be much appreciated.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
