Midland 75-822 ????

A friend of mine got given to him one of these radios. He wants to use it on his Harley and be able to talk to the rest of us Goldwingers. His problem is trivial but here it is.

When he first got it, it showed channel numbers on the display. Now for some reason it is displaying the frequency numbers. This is too much for him and he wants the channel numbers back. I checked his owners manual on this thing and he says he called Midland and talked to 2 people that had no clue.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hold down the F key for a few seconds until it changes the display.
