Midland Alan 48 plus E40 help please

I understand that the Midland Alan 48 plus E40 should work on UK band and also Cept. does anyone know how to change from one to the other?. It works fine on UK band. thanks STU
 

The radio works superb on UK band. I think it must have been messed with at some time to make it do that. thanks for the interest. Stu
 
I'm happy to see the radio works for you. I had an CEPT version. Everything was wrong with mine except it recieved and transmitted alright. But i don't by an radio with options to do what an cheaper cb could have done. So i returned after having it fixed by the shop and comming back with more problems!

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
