Im thinking about buying a new Mirage MX 36HP and I was just wanting some opinions on this radio. It will be used mobile everyday. I got a Comet 350 that would be inline with this radio. What do you guys think??
Thanks!

Hmmmm . . . $200 for a strictly AM radio . . . But if that is what you need . . .

Mirage MX-36HP 10 Meter
"New" High Power, Smaller Size, 10 Meter Radio
RF Power Output AM: 2 to 10 Watts
Frequency Range: RX/TX: 28.145~28.575 MHZ
Emission AM
Frequency Control Phase-Lock-Loop(PLL) Synthesizer
Frequency Stability 0.001%
Temperature Range -30°C to +50°C
Input Voltage 13.8V DC
Antenna Impedance 50 Ohms

That is a re-branded Ranger or Galaxy radio - IIRC. Should be OK. Never hear too many guys out there on the AM portion of 10m. YMMV. Perhaps a used Magnum 257 non-HP model w/AM, SSB, & FM for ~$135 - as an option?

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
