I like it, Jeff.
But rather than a vehicle, I’m thinking of a backyard project using portable work light stands or tripods.
Still not clear on now the elements are connected to each other (if they indeed are).

Whip #1 and #2 are grounded whip#3 is hot ( hook up as normal) whip #4 is grounded.

Now you know where the key down crowd learned to build shootout set-ups.......

like any yagi antenna, the parasitic elements can be grounded or not, it does not matter

the one at a key-down the rear is grounded then the main antenna is connected to coax then depending on the number of director elements are floaters not grounded if i remember correctly

The directors can be grounded or isolated as groundwire posted just like a Yagi.
Most also use fighting sticks not loaded antennas but there guys that run all kinds of antennas.
Then Sha-Sha rolls up...

lol, yea, sha sha's van. that was something else. it's almost hard to make sense of the thing lol

Its a folded dipole array, I dont fully understand the tilted elements, but he slaps a big maul with it.
