Mobile Flatside Antenna's

I have seen some set ups with all the antennas being the same and then I have seen the hot antenna different from the elements being used. When was up in the NW corner this one guy was running a squared boxed tube antenna for a shootout. This was a Skullcracka made. He did beat a few of the 8 pill boxes.

Correct, the capacitance hat fools the antenna into thinking is longer than it really is, antennas are so gullable. :D

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
