MOBILE MURS ANTENNA LENGTH

I was wondering what the length is of a MURS antenna for mobile use. I found a few mag mounts not used so can cut down.

It's not a fixed lenth, but you can trim a 2 meter antenna to work. You will only be removing an inch or so.

I use a MFJ-1776 ? I can't remember the model number but it's the 2 / 6 meter mag mount. I have had two of them for 10 years now and they work great. I use them on 2 meters AND MURS. On 2 meters they have low SWR and on MURS it's about 1.7:1

A 1/4 wave antenna of 19.3" (490mm) would offer usable SWR at both the low and high ends of the band.
