hello to everyone,

I am looking for an mobile trx (2m, 70cm TRX) that can also receive the 4m band [~ 84-87 Mhz] in N-FM (not W-FM like UKW radio).

The Yaesu FT-350 has the frequency, but the datasheet says "UKW Radio" , what means Wide-FM.

Are there any other ham radio trx (mobile, not handheld like the VX-8) out with 4m N-FM or modifications?

thanks and best regards

If you are referring to the 4m amateur band it is 70.0-70.5 MHz not 84-87 MHz. Gear for 4m is pretty rare in general and 4m gear is unheard of in North America as we do not have an amateur allocation here. It is quite popular in the UK, Europe, and some African countries.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
