Maybe it's just me, but I don't see the point in making all this noise that's just going to be disruptive and annoying to someone who's actually trying to use their radio for it's intended purpose. Communication. Just my opinion...

No it's not just you, I have a few local mobile rigs I agitate now and again at low power so my targeted victims are the only ones affected, well almost the only ones as there are always innocent casualties.

Lol, it is not Always about being disruptive, in fact if you set back and listen, i think the guy in the Vid and his "friend" are playing around.

Yes we have all run across a few guys on Cb (and the ham bands) that are there purely for hate and discontent, but then there are some that just like to let loose and have some fun. Cb is a Band that you can get together on a sat night and goof off with a few noise toys and have some fun and laugh....this would be very frowned on during the day when the radio might be used by the local rock haulers to tell there drivers where to take the next load...or if they should pick up crushed, or a load of sand...or on HF or your local 2 meter repeater. I myself do not think it would be productive in any of those scenario`s . How do we say ? A place for everything?
I was a Station trustee for one of the local 2 meter machines many years ago, built the repeater out of a old forest service 100 watt mobile vhf radio, set up the antenna, Set up the C.A.T 1000 controller with the optional vioce module, duplexers..and so on. We got creative with the controller, alternating courtesy beeps, colorful ID messages...just to lighten things up a bit.
We were blasted by another local repeater owner that did not like our " operating technique" he told us it was childlish and sounded like CB... within a short time, we had plenty of traffic on our machine, and his became a ghost repeter.
Who ever said that radio should not be fun??
Take it with a grain of salt friends, it is ment in fun.......
