Modified Galaxy 2547 Problems

For the amount of money you spend on "10m export radios" and the fact you're going to be using it illegally you would be far better served buying an amateur radio HF set which will have better performance and 100W out of the box, requiring no peaking and tuning for not much difference in price.

I have not purchased any export radios and I do not intend to use the Galaxy 2547 and the Uniden Grant XL illegally. The extra channels in the 2547 will be removed and the radio will be back to OEM specifications. The Grant XL only needs a good check-up and possible alignment.
