Whats the easiest way off monitoring the true sound off your outgoing audio from within the shack ? never like the idea off transmitting to a second set also situated within the shack. any advice ?

another easy way do do a quick audio test,, sign up on globaltuners.com and when dx is rollin pick a receiver and an odd ball open freq and listen to yourself from a distant receiver online,, works great!!

heck, just get on 14.313 and talk,............ after a while you will hear yourself............. perhaps even on a different freq too;)

You can build a simple demodulator circuit using schematics online, but you may have to try a couple different ones to get the response you're looking for.

Here's another way... buy a cheap class C amplifier and listen to yourself over your computer speakers, and your toaster, and the neighbor's TV, and his guitar amp, and ...

Thanks guys appreciate the advice given,

Make a small TRF "crystal" radio. A coil, variable cap, and an earphone. Done. Then, make one that picks up AM radio stations, and learn some things, AND have fun in the process. No power required.
