I am working on a 148 GTL DX and found my problem broken off leg on the crystal filter. Where to find one other than out of the country?

All of the "Export" CB and 10 meter "Ham" radios with SSB and US CB radio derivatives (Cobra 146GTL, Uniden PC122, etc... ) have this filter.
It is a 10.695 MHz centered filter with 4 KHz bandwidth (+ or - 2KHz from center) , hence the 10M4 or 10M04 designation.
So please explain. I have 6 HR2510 parts radios. Those filters are 10M 7 not 10M 4. It works am I gaining or loosing by using this?
Thanks.

For FM you need the 7 KHz filter, AM/SSM coud do with the 4 Hz filter, the narrower the IF the less noise and splatter from other channels.
Here in the EU i always put in the 7KHz filters, most used FM anyway.

Thank You I did see the 7KHz and that was going to be my next thought. It did seem to be the same size.
Thanks Again

The HR2510 (and Lincoln) has a 10M04DS crystal filter. This is centered at 10.695, with a bandwidth of + or - 2 Kc, or 4 Kc total (hence the 04 designation).
The 10M4DS used in other similar SSB radios (Cobra 146GTL, Uniden PC122, Ranger, Galaxy, Mirage, et cetera) is the exact same thing, just different manufacturers of their crystal filter supplier.

I just looked in my Uniden PC122, it has the same 10M04DS filter as an HR2510.

AM and the SSB modes in an HR-2510 are passed through this same filter, AM is not double converted down to a 455 KHz 2nd IF it is straight through to the AM detector diodes at 10.695 MHz.

The FM mode is tapped off before this filter, and has a ceramic 10.7 MHz filter on the FM daughter board, then converted to 455 KHz 2nd IF by the FM discriminator/detector IC IR3N06.

Yes I was wrong I looked at it and there was a letter suffix that was different but the same and works. I forgot to repost my findings.
Thank you.
