mosfet radio question

I have been completely out of radios for a while now. I have been thinking about getting a new 3300hp or general lee or galaxy 33hp. The question I have can the same NPC mod be done like we used to on the old 2312 and 1969 final radios? or is there a different way to do it now?

Mosfet radios are the same beside a few changes in the RF amp, the NPC mods will work better on a mosfet radio.
