Maybe some one can tell me something about these radios. I called Motorola support and they said they have never heard of them. Here is what is on the front of the radios. Cellstar by Motorola CS10. I know the freq. is 154.600. I have searched the internet and can not find anything at all on them. I do know they were made in 1996. The person i got them from said he got them from Sams Club. How true this is i do not know. It just seems funny that Motorola Support has never heard of them. Lot of people thinks because they say Cellstar they are cell phones, but by no means are they cell phones. They look a lot like the Motorola sp10 radios. If any help you can give me would be great.

Hi guy, You may have it pretty much figured out already. If it looks like an SP10 then there's not much more to it. Probably a single channel VHF hand held on that frequency you mentioned. The SP10's are pretty simple and straightforward with no bells or whistles.

Good luck!

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
