Im sure most will read this thread and say DUHH but i just wanted to post this for the ones who didn't know like myself. I ordered a n2 last week and recieved it yesterday. I had plans on installing it today, but quickly found out that the bracket supplied with the radio wasn't large enough to mount from the bottom of the radio. If your planning on mounting this radio on your dash as I am you will have to order a larger DX mount. I found one at GI joes electronics. $22 for the mount shipping included. Hope this helps someone and they won't have to wait an extra week to mount their radio as I am!

I hope you are planning on powering that radio straight to the battery. Any version 2970 is too strong to run off dash posts.
