MURS/GMRS

MURS doing fine here in the cornfields of Indiana.
Using a beam now and communicate 20 miles with no problems and have other stations at 35 miles. Mobile to home ..quiet..vhf communications on fm.

GMRS..not much to report..on with an ICOM..but have to put up a beam when weather subsides and try for some distance to Louisville Kentucky 30 miles...

Do you have any Walmarts in your area?

The one here uses MURS.

151.820 is primary.

MURS

No , the nearest WALMART is 30 miles from here, and they were suppose to vacate the MURS frequencies long ago, and not use those chnls.
