Hello,
I don't know if im in the right forum/section for this, mods feel free to move this around. I'm trying to build a simple receiver using a 1.2 to 6 pf capacitor and a 1 uH coil. If I got this right I should get something between 50 to 150 Mhz. I decided to use fm* cause there isn't a strong am signal where I live. But somehow all I can hear is if someone turns a nearby(10m) device on/off. Im using an 8m copperwire as antenna and a cold water pipe as ground. The circuit looks as follows:

If I forgot to tell u something please ask.
*I know, a crystal radio isn't supposed to demodulate fm, but I heard it should also work, although the pitch would be distorted.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
