I shared this new toy on another site so I figured I would share it on here as well....I figured maybe someone would appreciate it.
Got this a few weeks back and have kicked around the idea of parting with it or turning it into a neat little project with some simple upgrades. It's been Sparky peaked, tuned, and some of the internal components replaced. It's ready for another 35 years of talking...I figure if it sits here any longer I'm going to replace the channel readout to blue, along with the trasmit light. The meter light will get a super bright white replacement. I might have my tech install an internal amp as well. I have a replacement button coming for the PA/CB. Everyone says it's a great sounding radio on the air around here and I'm happy with it.
