Hi all,

Just thought I'd share my little mobile setup in my vehicle. I have converted my van into a mini camper, so I spend most of my time in the back - hence the position of the radio... An Anytone AT-779UV. With my 2/70 micro mag mount antenna on the roof - I'm up and running in seconds.

Need some opinions on a good setup for my 95 jeep cherokee
  • @ AF7LL:
If the antenna leads of an inverted V dipole are at 45 degrees instead of at 180 degrees, what happens to the signal?
  • @ snippits75:
@AF7LL At 45 degrees it will be omnidirectional. At 180, horizontal, it will be directional.
