Hey guys,
I met a guy this morning that said he had an antenna he wanted to get rid of. I didn't see it in.person, but he sent me this pic. Anybody recognize what it is?

Biggest single hint is the driven element. It's a folded dipole. The 300-ohm twinlead wrapped around it is a proper impedance match for this type driven element. And the most-popular feedline for rooftop TV antennas in the analog era.

Yes, we figured that out. My contact kept saying the owner was a ham ip, so he thought it was for ham radio. Probably could have converted it into something I could use, but the elements were that old split type, and not a very heavy duty boom, either.

Oh well, you never know what you might find at these sk estate deals.

Thanks for all the input!

Brett

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
