How about an electric fence...

MY OWN. Even after killing my main, I still heard the noise on my truck's radio, so I switched it back on and kept looking. Today i shut it down and left it down for a few minutes and the noise went away. main back on, noise back on. Started shutting down circuits, and viola... That fence box must have a hell of a capacitor, because it carried on for a while after the power was off.

Turns out some weeds had grown into the hot wire. Problem solved. Thanks for the replies.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
