need a good tech

i have a galaxy 99v with the world famous super mod i went to talk on ssb today and turned on my talkback and it sounded like s@#t. am sounds good but ssb sounds bad. the 10kz switch is diabled and that turns on and off talkback i would like to fix that to. the local shop that i took it to does not use a scope they use a dosy watt meter to tune their radios. is there anybody out there who can fix my radio

I sent a older 2960 ranger down to richard about a year ago and I still have people trying to talk me out of it.Had a guy try to trade me a new cobra 200 for it awhile back, I have never heard it on the air but I figured if so many wants it around here it must be doing allright. That's richard at ss8541.
