What’s going on I need help with a antenna im going to mobile to a base want to start with a good antenna I do not have a lot of room Have to mount it to chimney so I think I cannot go to big I want to talk skip or the have the best of both world I was looking at a I max 2000, or
maco v/5000,or v what is the best can not go to big how good do maco v quad work looks like i will need a rotor for that one

If you're going to mount it to a chimney, then the Imax is a good choice. It's lightweight and is a pretty good performer. Use the antenna chimney straps and put it up on an antenna mast. I'm not sure how strong or tall your chimney is, but it should be able to handle 10' of radio shack antenna mast.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes

Wes, it's better if you start a thread on the main forum, more people are going to see your question.
