Need help Identifying a antenna part.

There is a loop and clamp fastener around the wire coming off the side of this balun.Can someone please tell me what each part is called?

There is an eye-bolt thru the side of the balun. The antenna wire passes thru a stamped single cable clamp and runs around a thimble which is the tear-drop shaped thing.

The loop is a wire thimble, but I've never seen a clamp like that.

I googled it and found it there also. It's not too often I come across a piece of hardware that I have never seen before.

I am concerned about finding a small size thimble locally. I think they may be used in fishing also.

The guy at the hardware store learned something today also. I asked him for a wire thimble and then showed him a picture. He knew right where they were but said never knew what they called them. So I got my parts.

I needed that schooling too! It's a dead end trying to find parts while guessing what to call them, I've attempted it myself a few times. Thank the Lord we have these sites at those times, right
