North coast of the USA.... Da UP!
A bit of nostalgia going on here!
Hoping to home brew a PA amp with vacuum tubes, something like the small Wawasee Jewel Box that uses a 6BQ5 final. What I am looking for are circuit diagrams and transformer sources. Not looking for kilo-Watt power here and nothing deadly.
I have built audio amps and they are not that different but for the RF frequency range. I am looking for HF and two meter diagrams.

TIA mechanic

try these guys for the plans:

i have the 300 watt tube amp plans and it is basically a palomar skipper 300 that they show you how to build.

the parts on the other hand, well that will take some searching. the best transformer sources are the old amps they came in.

check the guitar amp parts sellers for more transformers that might work.
RF parts carries some too.

I've found that the best way to find old HV "plate transformers" is to contact someone who restores vintage televisions and radios.
Phil Nelson at : http://antiqueradio.org/welcome.htm is a great guy and a good place to start. He's helped me locate several tube-related parts I've needed. If he doesn't have what you need, he usually knows someone that does. Check him out. 73s.
