Need help with dak 9 no rf power

Sounds like the transistor is not heating up anymore, so that is good. Next step, if you have weak signal, is to perhaps perform a TX alignment if possible, and see if output power comes up any. I do know that the tube "final amp" stage is prone to problems, so it may be possible that the radio is fine up to the tube section.

~Cheers~

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
