I use similar bins as well. I have a cabinet with bins for 2879 and similar amps with all the repair parts in them and labeled. I also have a cabinet for the Ameritron tube amp parts as well as a bin for their solid state amps. Another cabinet for all the popular range of caps and resistors for generic whatever repairs. Then the unpopular stuff is just in a box under the bench with them put in zipper bags from such range to such range.
That's a pretty ingenious solution for a small bench or service calls. Thanks for the idea! This seems even better, and cheaper too.

Well, I would keep only a handful of parts in the pockets and store the bulk elsewhere, probably in the same setup I have now but I can move it all away from the small bench and that would give me more room to store manuals, binders and more radios. It would mean restocking the binder from time to time, I ordered some of the pocket pages, if I don't care for using them for parts, the better half can use them for garden seed organization. That's a pretty ingenious solution for a small bench or service calls.
