My sister and brother in law own a gun, bow, and pawn shop and they gave me a General Lee radio. I cant find any model numbers on it at all. It has a sticker on top of it that reads band a, band b, band c, band d, band e, band f and out beside each one of these is a frequency, which they are all in the 28 mhz.

Now am I correct in the fact the all those frequencies are for ham radio operators?

There is a switch that says 10khz and then off, is this the switch that makes this a cb?

Any help or anyone with an owners manual it would be great to hear from you

Thanks

You are correct, if the radio hasnt been converted, the frequencies it has are ham radio frequencies.

In doing a search i couldnt come up with a frequency chart for the radio if it has been converted. There may be one here General Lee CB 10 Meter Radio Review its not in the review itself but it may be in the video. I didnt watch it to see

Once converted the 10kc switch lets you get to the "A" or "RC" channels. The button moves the frequency up 10kc from whatever channel you are on.

If it was in a pawn shop, there is a 100% chance it's been converted. Good loud loud loud loud loud radio....did I say loud! Hopefully it hasn't supercrackpacked.
