hello friend i like the blue display on the ranger i also work a 2950 dx nice radio for ssb its been a while since i seen a president lincoln you refer to them in the usa as the hr2510 what kind of conditions do you have in abilene tx happy thanksgiving
Congrats on the new rig! I love the 2510's!! Thats why I have two of em hihi. Youll find that the rig will run circles around the 2950 on ssb and CW. But the 2510s dont use a true AM and their audio is a bit weak unless you modify it. So I would stick with the 2950 for AM use. Have fun and enjoy your piece of radio history!

@ heartbreaker3473:Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
