Are the new cobra 29s still using a 2078 final or are they coming out of the factory with a mosfet? I bought a uniden 78 a couple of years ago. It was made in Vietnam and had a mosfet. I believe it was a 520.

I think all new radio's are mosfets unless a shop has some NOS sitting around.
