Anyone play with the new 29 LX. It’s all surface mount now. Seems to be a turd. Any mods on it out there I can’t seem to find anything.
 

I had a 25LX given to me that does not work. Only looks pretty. Honestly, I would steer clear from them unless it works and it is free! Just me though, as I am sure there are some out there enjoying them.

You have to be really good at hand soldering surface mount stuff, that's just one reason why most shops won't try to mod them or mess with them.

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
