Well, next month I'll be moving into my new house....Right now I'm using a little 2 element quad antenna, wiich I can't complain on it's performance for it's size...I plan on running something different for when I set up my new shack in the new home....I was thinking of going with a true cubical quad (4 element) but i'm concerned about the wind load these antenna's have.It get's pretty darn windy where I'm moving.....I usually like DXn' on the Flatside and was looking at a Maco 104C.....Then I stumbled on this link...www.signalengineering.com..._yagi.html I was kinda thinking of using the dimensions found on this link, since it's tuned for the freq's I'm usually on, freebanding....I want to run my I-Max 2000 right on top of it....First off I was wondering what some of you thought of this modification of the Maco, True's and Con's....Second, How far apart from the beam to the omni would be sufficent for use....And Third, If I do go this route, what's a good, reasonable priced Rotor I should run for this combo setup..Any input would be much appreciated.......Thanks........73's and good DXn'...<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/pimp.gif ALT=":hat">

Hope you enjoy your new place Phil, And I am sure you will get a good beam so we can talk again. Miss hearing that duckplucker for Nevada. LOL.

I owned a M104 and it worked great(flat or vertical).
