New Kenwood HT

At Dayton 2016 I spotted this new HT by Kenwood, no name or number for it yet. The Kenwood rep would not let me hold it or even touch it! From what he said the Japanese Kenwood people brought it there just for one day, may be out for the Tokyo HAM fair in August.

Yes, I believe it to be a D-Star for sure.... as for the size it seemed to be about the TH-D72A

Looks neat. I want speech recognition commands. Yes, that would be the ticket. My Alinco DJ-G7 still does what I need.

I've been monitoring this HT closely. It's 2m/220/440, has built in GPS, TNC, APRS, and D-Star. It's basically a marriage between the TH-D72, the TH-F6A, and an Icom ID-51.

I want one.
