New Product (Replacement Galaxy Band pcb)

I got one in the mail to try out.

It works in place of the old or the new (smt)

band pcb's in the galaxy 44, 66, 88, 99. I installed it in a old and newer radio with no problems in mounting and it and works great.

Cool ideal, It has both types of connectors installed so it

will work in the older or newer Galaxy Radios also has

diodes on the adder outputs for protection.

The IC's are socketed (machine pin) and has the mounting bracket with it.

I was told they will be out the 1st or 2nd week of Jan 2004.

No problem Jeff I know how it is.

Repost:

None

It is meant as a replacement part for the EPT004410Z (old type) and EPT004410A ("SMT" new type) Band PCB (some folks call it the adder pcb).

Some shops get a radio in that someone tried to repair the

the pcb and destroyed it in the process.

Ranger no longer makes the EPT004410Z (old type) and

the new EPT004410A "SMT" will not plug in a older radio

that has a EPT004410Z installed.

Also shops will only need to stock one because it will replace both types of band pcb's old and new.

Also for the shops that don't want to take the time to trouble shoot a bad pcb they can just drop one of these in.

I works the same as a stock pcb.

For the folks that want to know how to tell one from the other
