Tuning system confused me at first, but then the light bulb came on. Lots of tuning options.

So it's a NEW Tornado 27 with the extra tuning piece on the coil. Do they sell just that piece? I have the NEW Tornado 27. Excellent antenna so far. The Tornado is a top tuner, normally.

Have heard numerous stories about people trying to get antenna parts from Italy with no luck, so I doubt they will sell the tuning coil.

I just put the Monsoon Antenna up a few weeks ago. It tuned very well, using LMR400-UF. I did modify the way the sections go together
Was not fond of the plastic joining sleeves. I cut each but he section down the middle and used hose clamps and also on the bottom hole of each section I used the screws provided. Wrapped each joint with vinyl electrical tape. So far it's been and excellent Antenna.

I put up a new Tornado 27 about a month ago.
Very good antenna.
