I am looking to buy a new radio for my toy hauler truck. Looking for A.M. mainly with loud and more importantly clean modulation. I have the S9-175 in my daily driver and while I am leaning towards another, I am also considering the Stryker 497-HPC. Are there any overlooked "big" radios out there I should also consider? I have been down the amplifier road before and just prefer an all in one radio.

Thanks guys! Both look like possible candidates. While I have not considered the S-3 350, I was ready to buy the RCI-63FFC4 untill I read a few bad reviews on it, I believe one was by Sixx Burning Sky on a for sale thread and I have seen a few for sale slightly used on ebay. Mack, have you had a chance to try the RCI or spoke with anyone who has?

Thanks again

Tim

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes

Wes, it's better if you start a thread on the main forum, more people are going to see your question.
