Hi, I just wanted to drop a dime and give my thoughts on blue lights. At night the blue lights are very distracting. Green is also very distracting at night. IMO red lights in a radio would be a viable option as that color is very soothing to the eyes. I am an over the road truck driver and do alot of driving at night. The blue lights are the sole reason I did NOT purchase one of your radios. Even though there is a dimmer; it's still not dim enough. Now if that switch could completely turn the lights off I would be ok with it.
Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
