it starts out discussing the 10k vs. 55 antenna and about half way through he mentions fatboy has some new top loaded models comming out (one is 7 ft tall :shock: ) . everything i read and hear says top loaded antennas are more efficent . one is supposed to look like a "fishing pole with bugs wings on top" , similar i guess to the GoldenRod 45 ( http://www.signalengineering.com/ ) . i imagine you would have to use at least a puck mount on these because of the leverage from wind on the high mounted flat sided coil . time will tell how much is fact and how much is hype .
