Nice tribute to a lost friend.

At the end of last summer you may possibly recall my announcing the passing of a good long time friend Tom, VE1TJP. Tom was a rough-around-the-edges-goodhearted kind of person that I had known for about three dozen years or more. Tom had worked for a long time at a winery near home doing field work planting, pruning, and harvesting the grapes used to make some award winning wines.His birthday was Canada Day July 1'st and Domaine-de-Grande Pre unveiled a special edition limited quantity wine this past Canada Day on what would have been Tom's 68'th birthday. I thought it was a really nice thing for them to do.

Sorry for your loss of an old friend. What an honorable thing of the vineyard to do for him! Very cool.
