your guess may be as good as ours....they may be a couple different bands.

Could be CB or VHF Lo band or 6m. Larsen makes a LOT of bases and coils for almost every frequency range.

the difference is in the winding of the coil, that is the number of turns for the fraction of the wavelength being produced.

I have a Larsen coil marker "Special". It is for a wideband scanner antenna they make...it is not made for transmitting. It is a triband monitor antenna, covering VHF-UHF-800 megs. I own one of these for RX purposes.
However, the coil is a shorter one, about 1" or so in height.
I have also owned a taller coil (about 3" tall) that was made for 27-30 mHz, but that was marked as an NMO-27.
